Modern people are busy with their work and occasionally spend half a day in the suburbs to relax and recharge their lives. While walking, you might as well spend more time on making use of the camera in your hand to make random but thematic photographic records, leaving moving pictures and memories.
Walking can be a backpack hiking trip or a roadway around your home. If you plan to travel for a walk, it is suggested that you first understand the relevant information, use your spare time, read maps, travel books or collect information on the Internet, understand the local human and natural characteristics, and first imagine the main axis of the shooting, route and shooting time. At that time, the mind has a spectrum, even in the random walk, you can quickly find the focus of shooting, in order to avoid aimless, leading to unlimited expansion of the journey. In advance planning, in addition to reserving a major route, you can also consider a number of cases for the record. Take the preset route, then adjust the plan in time with the local situation, and make the journey with the nature and direction. Even in the lanes near their homes, they can first understand the relevant directions, routes and set shooting priorities, and then adjust flexibly according to emergencies (such as discovering unknown lanes, novel personnel, etc.) when walking, so as to increase the fun of shooting. Many photographers call street "follow-up" because they have done their homework beforehand and have an anticipated shooting spindle in their hearts. Therefore, they can better capture satisfactory pictures and avoid the embarrassment of completely "on the spur of the moment" until they don't know what to shoot or how to shoot in the end.
Make good use of shooting mode and automatic sensitivity
If you are not familiar with the camera control, you can use automatic or scene mode to shoot first. After a little understanding, you can try advanced shooting methods. For personal habits, most of them use the aperture priority (A) mode because they are often outdoors when taking a stroll. When using a camera that can customize the shooting mode, it is recommended to set up a set of capturing values for capturing the instant picture, such as increasing the shutter speed in the S mode and matching the automatic sensitivity, so as to prepare for the sudden appearance of the valuable lens. 。
If the photographic process requires frequent access to indoors and outdoors, or encounters scenes with large changes in light and shade, it is suggested that the camera should be set to an automatic ISO without additional light, so that the camera can automatically determine the appropriate sensitivity. As for the problem that automatic sensitivity makes ISO high and leads to image quality decline, users can set the maximum value of automatic sensitivity first to avoid "breaking the table". In mode A, the camera will calculate the appropriate ISO value with the safe shutter of the current focal section, and the shutter speed can also be preset in "the slowest shutter speed".
Walking in such distinctive places as monkey cave, the shooting theme is usually very clear. Usually, it can be shot in mode A, and a set of snapping instantaneous pictures is preset in order to capture unpredictable cat dynamics.
Select the automatic sensitivity, when entering the dark room, the camera opportunity to improve the ISO, although the lens aperture is not large enough to take a clear picture.
Streamlined lens collocation
Since it is a light-weight requirement, it is recommended to carry 1 to 2 lenses. If you only want to start with one machine and one mirror, you can choose between high zoom tourist mirror and large aperture standard focusing mirror. When using tourist mirrors, due to the small maximum aperture, it is suggested to increase the sensitivity moderately to obtain sufficient shutter speed; by switching to the telescope to compress the image to produce shallow depth of field effect, it can also make up for the lack of aperture. If we choose the standard fixing lens, although there is no convenience to quickly switch the focus section, we can get the soft astigmatism and better picture quality brought by the large aperture. In addition, the focus section of the standard fixing lens is fixed, so we need to use the movement to view, and we can train our ability of composition better.
The greatest advantage of carrying a high zoom rate tourist mirror out is that most subjects can be solved in one mirror, especially the wide-angle vision which is difficult to obtain with standard fixed-focus lens.
By using a large aperture focusing lens, soft astigmatism and better picture quality than zoom lens can be obtained.
Take the Nikon camera as an example, when photographing, we encounter a large light difference environment. In order to balance the contrast, traditional photography often uses black card shaking method to deal with. However, walking photography emphasizes mobility and variations of scenes. It is unlikely that black cards can be applied in time or with appropriate horizontal lines. At this point, the HDR or D-Lighting function in the camera can be used; however, HDR is not built-in for all types of cameras, and the camera processing is time-consuming. In addition, for the sake of lightness, it usually does not carry tripods, and the stability requirements of the opponents are relatively higher, so D-Lighting becomes the most convenient tool for walking photography. Nikon's D-Lighting can directly enhance the darkness brightness and details during shooting, without waiting for image processing to affect the shooting pace, and has a variety of levels to choose. Overall, the effect is more natural than HDR. D-Lighting can also be divided into active and passive modes. If you want to adjust yourself after shooting, it is recommended to shoot RAW files, which can be set directly in the fuselage by passive D-Lighting, or transmitted to the computer using View NX2 software processing, which is very convenient.
With the streamlined equipment and shooting mode, the most attention can be focused on walking and observing around, in the process of moving, keep keen observation and maneuverability at any time, looking for pictures that are worth capturing. In addition to the pre-set shooting theme, of course, new ideas need to be discovered temporarily. Everyone wants to record different objects, but the key point is to convey the local customs, traveling trails and the mood of the photographer through the photographs taken. In photography, in addition to the need for basic and stable composition, we can try more different angles of entry; such as squatting, looking down, tilting, bringing in the foreground and background, etc., can enrich the picture, so that the photograph is not only a record photo, but also a photographer's creative idea.
Bringing in the foreground can enrich the picture and guide and concentrate the viewer's vision better than not bringing in the foreground.
Look for the most attractive features of the scene, and then take it as the core to develop the composition.
