Photographs were taken at more than two o'clock in the afternoon. The weather was cloudy. It just rained outside. The light wasn't very good. But fortunately, the windows in the classroom were bigger, the whole was brighter, and the lights in the classroom were all turned on. The classroom we chose was not big and slightly monotonous. We wanted to take a group of pictures without imagining it. It's so easy, but it's not as hard as I imagined. This course mainly wants to share some preparations, some action guidance in the process of photography, and some ideas of color matching in the later stage. Thank my teacher Midy for the color matching, which has given me a lot of guidance and help.
preparation in advance
It's not easy to find an empty classroom, so we only find a small classroom, so that we won't disturb the students who are studying, and we can take photos relatively without being disturbed by others. But for a small classroom, how to take a group of relatively rich photos, in addition to preparing some props, there is also the composition as diverse as possible, a group of pictures is best to have full-body photos with half-body photos with close-ups so as to appear relatively complete. In fact, there are few full-body photos I took in this group of photos, but one can seem like a finishing touch to make your whole group look more complete. Imagine a group of photos, if they are all half-body or head photos, so that the most beautiful pictures will make people a little aesthetic fatigue.
The shooting costume is my only set of JK clothes, which is very suitable for the classroom. Besides, I also prepared several simple props, a book, a pen and a bottle of precious mineral drink. The interaction with props in the shooting process can be more lively, less deliberate, and then use them. Existing props, we also have an interaction with the blackboard, chalk, blackboard eraser, window glass, a series of small preparations and actions constitute the whole group of photos.
It was the first time that we met with Miss Models. At first, we were in a state of mutual understanding and understanding. I asked Miss to choose a seat to sit down first, find a comfortable state for herself, support her cheeks, tilt her head, look left and right, and then give me a look from time to time to relax in such a comfortable situation. In this state, I went to find the right time to take a picture, so I got the two pictures above. When two people are gradually familiar with each other, they can give the model some guidance suggestions. For example, we take some props to play with, pretend you want to write a composition to her, you are conceiving the content of the article, setting some scenes for the model to be in it, and then the photographer can find some different angles to grasp it. Take beautiful moments, or write a composition, or meditate, or think about problems, or write a composition tired of making faces and playing with pens. Don't let her sit still and swing. Everything is snapped in slow motion. Write your composition tired, want to rest for a while, then we can drink some water, pick up the treasure mineral props prepared beforehand, drink water can really drink or pretend to drink, here I captured a lot, compared to real drink, fake drink may be better looking, you can take more pictures and try to always find the angle you like. When two people become more and more familiar with each other, we can take some uncomfortable poses, such as sitting on a table, taking some front or side of the whole body, finding a position that can take the whole body from many angles and all directions, and increasing the richness of the composition of a group of photos. When the props are used one by one and the posture of sitting and standing is taken one by one, we can watch carefully what can be used in the surrounding environment. There are desks, chairs, blackboards, windows and doors in the classroom. We can write on the blackboard, look out of the window and see through the cracks in the door. At first glance, this round of interaction is a few new actions. When I feel that there are no photographs to be taken, I can also think about whether there are some angles that the photographer can do but has not done, such as standing high or lying low, the photographer can find a higher angle to shoot some overlooking angles. Through the above introduction of a variety of ways, props and angles of guidance and shooting, each can try to shoot more, a group of photos you do not want to rich is very difficult. I've heard people say that when I take four or five pictures in the classroom, I don't think there's anything to take. After reading my tutorial, do you still think there's nothing to take? Color matching in later stage
The tone of this group of photos is completed in ps, but I usually select the film in LR. In case of slightly under-exposure, I will now increase the exposure in LR a little, depending on the different photos. Also, I will hook the deleted color difference and enabled configuration file in the lens correction in LR. This time, I choose the following photo as a color matching demonstration. The contrast chart is as follows. First of all, we analyze the original film, it is obvious that the picture is under-exposed. This is my previous shooting error. Because the angle is changeable, the parameters of the smooth or reverse light or side camera should be adjusted. The best way is to make sure that every shot can be exposed accurately. There is also the effect of exposure, the overall picture is relatively flat, the characters are not prominent in the picture, one is because of the composition reasons, the other is the color reasons, after the analysis of the original film, we enter the adjustment part below, I want the effect is prominent characters, there are warm and cold contrast, the characters and the overall environment have some sense of hierarchy.
First of all, as I just said, there are not too many adjustments in the LR, but the exposure has increased. In addition, I did a second composition. In the LR, I cut some pictures, so that the eyes of the characters can be placed on the line of 3. This gives the character a more prominent feeling. The comparison chart is as follows:
First, in Camera Raw filter, the color temperature is slightly reduced and the exposure is slightly increased. I think the picture seems a little grey. Here, the contrast is deepened a little, the part of removing mist is increased a little, the adjustment here is slight, and the overall impact on the picture is relatively small. Then in the curve of the Camera Raw filter, the shadows and darkness are highlighted a little, mainly for the dark parts of the jacket.
In the HSL adjustment of Camera Raw filter, a little bit of orange color to the right can change the red color to a little yellow color. This step can be regarded as a step to change the whole picture. In the HSL adjustment of Camera Raw filter, the saturation of orange and yellow is moved to the right. Sometimes I usually reduce the saturation of orange and yellow when adjusting the fresh style, but here I hope to have a warm and cold contrast to make the skin of the characters fuller, so I add it. The saturation of orange and yellow also change the color of the desktop. Green and bright green change the grey-green part of the desk and chair. After this adjustment, there will be a contrast between cold and warm colors of characters and backgrounds. The effect of reducing the saturation of orange is similar to that of increasing the saturation of orange. The purpose is to change the skin color. Orange has a greater effect on the skin color. The final step in Camera Raw is to add a little green to the shaded part of the detached tone, which looks like a light mint green and adds some freshness. After completing all the operations in Camera Raw, the comparison chart is as follows. After setting the basic tone, there are some minor modifications. Here I try to find the color in PS. I try every configuration file. Finally I find that I like one of the Moonlight colors, and the feeling of a filter makes the whole picture colder and a little bit more contrast. It deepens a little. After use, the comparison chart is as follows. Then subtract the black from the neutral gray in the optional color, which can lighten the dark part of the picture slightly and reduce the contrast of the shadows. After completion, the comparison chart is as follows. There are few operations in each step. Then, in the color balance, the shadows go a little further to green, the cyan part to cyan, and the magenta part to green, with only the smallest granularity adjustments made at each step. Finally, raise the middle part of the curve a little bit higher. Neither of these two steps has changed very much. The comparison chart is as follows.
At this point, the color matching process is completed, and then I will liquefy and polish the facial features. After a series of completions, I will choose a filter sleeve in Expusure Film Film Filter Plug-in and add a few particles. Usually I will choose a Kodak filter. Finally, I add a Japanese typesetting.
